The Gateway Branch serves the Metro-east area of St. Louis and surrounding counties. We have five regular meetings along with a golf scholarship outing each year. Regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of even numbered months except in October. Mark your calendar and plan to attend. Please feel free to invite a guest who may be interested in the featured topic and/or might be interested in joining APWA.

The Gateway Branch requires a $30 membership fee in addition to the APWA membership fee. Two options are available for the membership form that includes instructions for submitting payment for the membership fee:

Scholarship Applications Now Open!

We are now taking applications for our scholarship! Please have all applications turned in to GatewayBrach.Illinois.APWA@gmail.com by the deadline on Friday, October 16, 2026. Please note that you must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program, and are from or intend to pursue a career within the counties that make up the Gateway Branch. Scholarships will be presented to the chosen applicants at the annual luncheon on Tuesday, December 1, 2026 (date subject to change). Applicants do not need to be present to accept the scholarship.
